Dr. Shameela Ahmed is a Board Certified Neurologist and a Clinical Neurophysiologist, with a passion for the practice of Neurology.
Dr. Shameela Ahmed is a graduate of Dow University of Health Sciences, Karachi, Pakistan. She completed a residency in Neurology from Loyola University Medical Center near Chicago, IL. She obtained a Fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology from the University of Tennessee at Memphis, with emphasis on Neuromuscular diseases and Electromyography, under the tutelage of Dr. Tulio Bertorini.
She is compassionate and caring of her patients and has the knowledge and expertise to diagnose and treat neurological disorders. She can perform and interpret nerve conduction studies, electromyography (EMG), electroencephalograms (EEG) and sleep studies.
